Dr. Maryam Ebrahimzadeh
Dr. Maryam Ebrahimzadeh, affectionately known as Dr. E, is a distinguished, trained Naturopathic Doctor and licensed acupuncturist practicing in Maryland. Known for her warm and caring demeanor and exceptional attention to detail, Dr. Ebrahimzadeh is recognized as a leader in her field. She earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and holds a Master of Acupuncture from the Maryland University of Integrative Health.
In 2023, Dr. Ebrahimzadeh completed her residency at the Nirvana Holistic Medicine cancer center. Additionally, in 2018, she trained under a prominent fertility Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) physician, further honing her expertise. Passionate about community service, Dr. Ebrahimzadeh enjoys asking her patients how they want to feel, live, and be every day, partnering with them to achieve their health goals using a variety of modalities in her extensive toolkit.
Dr. Ebrahimzadeh’s greatest joy lies in empowering her patients to make informed choices that improve their health and transform their lives. She specializes in women’s health, fertility for women, men, and healthy pregnancy, postpartum health, gut health and pain management. Dr. E is an active member of the Acupuncture Association of Maryland and the National Infertility Organization.

She is the founder of Barima Skin Co., a results-driven skincare line inspired by traditional African botanicals and designed specifically to meet the unique needs of melanated and sensitive skin types. Chimere specializes in treating:

● Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and uneven tone
● Specialized in: ○ Problematic skin, including acne, sensitivity, and texture irregularities

Each treatment begins with a personalized consultation using the Muilli AI Dermascope, a non-invasive tool that analyzes hydration, pigmentation, pore health, and skin barrier function. Based on the results, customized Korean skincare recommendations may be provided. Chimere combines traditional botanicals like shea, baobab, moringa, and calendula with evidence-based care to support healthier skin and lasting results. She also helps clients understand how to maintain their skin beyond the treatment room.

Sarah Charmchi is the Owner and Director of Serenity Psychotherapy Group, where she offers compassionate, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based online counseling services. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Sarah is committed to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with personalized support in a safe and welcoming environment.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral and Community Health from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree in Social Work from The Catholic University of America. Her education and professional experience have shaped a holistic, client-centered approach that honors the unique experiences, needs, and goals of every client.
Sarah’s work is centered on building trust and fostering meaningful connections. She believes online counseling should feel personal, supportive, and empowering, giving clients the space to explore their concerns, strengthen resilience, and move toward lasting emotional well-being. Her approach combines clinical insight with compassion, helping clients feel supported at every stage of their healing journey.
Fluent in English and Farsi, Sarah is passionate about serving clients from diverse backgrounds and creating an inclusive counseling experience where every individual feels understood and respected.
